The Jones High School Foundation’s (JHSF) mission is to fund and support empowerment programs for the students, faculty, families and administration of Jones High School. Jones High is a Title I (high poverty) public school, with 86% of its students receiving Free or Reduced lunch. The JHSF will focus on enhancing the academic and enrichment programs at Jones High School (JHS) to empower its current students and sustain its 100 plus year legacy of producing some of the finest citizens in the state of Florida and our nation. JHS has produced some of the most distinguished leaders in the world in the fields of Science, Music, Law, Military, Entrepreneurship, Performing Arts, Education, and Athletics.

Donate In Memory of James Weldon "Chief" Wilson.

"Chief" Wilson was an historical icon at Jones High and the city of Orlando. "Chief" Wilson built one of the most successful high school band programs in the nation that has excelled for decades - TWO World's Fairs, 1976 Bicentennial celebration in Washington D.C., Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, National Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC & Carnegie Hall. But his legacy went beyond music. Known as a compassionate but demanding educator, his standards of excellence resulted in many of his students becoming some of the most successful & prominent citizens in the nation - judges, doctors, lawyers, business men & women, educators, band leaders, & hundreds of college graduates. Thank You for your support in helping us raise $36K for NEW MARCHING TIGER BAND UNIFORMS. They have a IN MEMORIAM PATCH in honor of "CHIEF" WILSON. Our goal is to send our award-winning band on an out of state trip next school year in their new uniforms!! It will cost $25K. So, **Donate $10 or more per month. CLICK HERE TO DONATE!**

We look forward to your support during the 2024-25 school year. We have the following goals for our students.

  • Raise $5K to send four more students to the ALA program at the W.E.B. Dubois Scholars Institute at Princeton University;
  • Raise $5K for the JHS Orchestra - Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra partnership to train our orchestra students. JHS is currently the only high school in Orange County with this partnership.

  • Raise $25K to send our award-winning choir to Nashville to visit and perform at the National Museum of African American Music, and to visit Fisk & Tenn State Universities;
  • Raise $10K to provide support for academic incentives** and various other programs; and,
  • Raise $25K to send our Fightin' Tigers football team for college visits.
  • $10 or more per month from just one out of five JHS alumni and supporters will raise more than $140K per year and help our students achieve these goals each & every year!
